Parnell Bruce Collection
I am very fortunate to have a private car museum adjacent to my premises. Brian Bruce (the owner) has about 46 classic and vintage cars displayed at his facility.
In addition a collection of about 6,000 model cars are on show in one of the buildings which also houses a slot car race track and hundred’s of magazines and old car books for the public to enjoy.
Brian has recently bought the old Mitchell’s Brewery building in our cul-de- sac and the plan is to keep a few more cars there as well as set up a tea garden/cafe so that our visitors can relax and have some refreshments while taking in all the sights.
The idea is to make our little spot in the Industrial Area a ‘must visit’ destination for all old car enthusiasts.
Already we are attracting the various old car clubs on there tours as there is so much to see in the way of classic and vintag
e 
cars.
Apart from my showroom and the museum, Bodge Engineering and the Beetle Man have some very interesting cars in their respective workshops.
Knysna is fast becoming the place to be for retired gents with old cars!
